A work in progress – this baby took a week to crea

A work in progress - this baby took a week to create. Probably our most 🧠challenging project yet because of the geometry paired with a giant organic shape on such a big space. The door you see at the beginning of the shot connects to the doors on the mezzanine to the far right, by a giant 🐛wormhole. All glow in the dark, of course ⭐️ since it’s inside #area15lasvegas
This particular project, unlike most, was designed by our client. So they sent the design, I tweaked for the space, they approved, and we created it.

Every so often there is a project that requires all of your mental capacity! This was it. Both Lyndsey and I had to be completely focused to map out this beast of a mural - 30x100 feet for Emporium inside Area15. These are pics from day 1. We were both so exhausted...but we had a plan and 3 more sets of hands to help.

Lines, lines, and more lines that turn into trees and way finding. This was so different from what we usually do so the design process was an intriguing challenge and had me thinking in a whole new way. There’s a language to the lines/circuitry that no one may ever notice but creates a harmony within the space.

‘Circuitry Wall’ #area15.
I should have counted the number of lines, the rolls of blue tape, the hours spent on this wall...seeing it all done is incredible. It really was a tedious process and a took us all working in tandem.
I knew when I designed it - it was going to be a challenge. It’s one thing to have a design on paper, it’s quite another to blow it up to 30x80 feet. Sometimes you realize the lines need to be thicker, or thinner for the overall aesthetic. But...it all worked out and I couldn’t be happier!!
